  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. minced onions
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 c. beef broth

Directions

    Combine meat, bread crumbs, eggs, milk, onions, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Form into 3/4-inch balls, using little pressure. Place on cookie sheets; bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.

    Before serving, place meat balls in heated beef broth.

    Yields approximately 90 to 100 meat balls.
