  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 stiffly beaten egg whites

Directions

    Toast nuts at 325° for 10 minutes.

    Add sugar to beaten egg whites.

    Fold nuts into egg white mixture.

    Melt butter in pan and spread nut mixture over butter.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 325°. Stir often.
