  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. milk, scalded
  • 1 c. light cream, scalded
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 2/3 c. raisins (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in 2-quart casserole.

    Mix thoroughly. Place casserole in pan filled with hot water, 1 inch deep.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
