Swedish Rice Pudding

  • 4 Tbsp. rice
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook rice in milk in double boiler until tender.

    Put in casserole.

    Add 4 small or 3 large eggs (beaten slightly), sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Bake in pan of water one hour at 350° or until custard is set.
