  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening

    Combine milk, sugar and salt;

    Beat in molasses, shortening and yeast mixture with 1 cup rye flour.

    Beat until smooth.
