- 5 3/4 to 6 1/4 c. flour
- 1 large cake yeast
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 egg yolks
Directions

1In large bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups of flour and the yeast.

2In a saucepan heat together milk, sugar, shortening and salt just until warm, stirring constantly until shortening almost melts. Add the lukewarm liquid to the dry mixture in the mixer bowl.

3Add the eggs.

4Beat with mixer.

5By hand, stir in most of the flour. Knead in remaining flour.

6Place in a lightly greased bowl.

7Turn once to grease the surface.

8Cover bowl with damp cloth.

9Let rise until double.

10When dough has doubled in size, about 1 1/4 hours, punch down, divide the dough and shape into cloverleaf balls. Place in greased muffin tins.

11Cover and let rise another 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.

12Bake at 375°

13for 35 to 40 minutes.

14Brush with melted butter.
