- 1 large sweet red pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3/4 c. pickling salt
- 2 qt. crushed ice
- 4 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. vinegar (5% acidity)
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
