  • 2 cups Pearl Barley, Cooked
  • 1/2 cups 1% Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Agave Nectar
  • 1 Tablespoon Organic Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cups Dates, Roughly Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Raw Walnuts, Chopped

Directions

    In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, combine pearl barley, milk, agave nectar, maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir frequently until the mixture becomes thick and heated through. Stir-in the dates and walnuts. Continue warming the mixture for another minute or two.

    Pour into your favorite bowl and why not drizzle a tad bit more maple syrup with a dash of cinnamon on top!
