- 3 c. fresh or frozen corn
- 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Directions

1Cook corn and drain well.

2Combine corn, milk, egg, onion, salt and 3/4 cup cheese.

3Turn into 1 1/2-quart greased baking dish.

4Toss bread crumbs with margarine and 1/4 cup cheese. Sprinkle over corn mixture.

5Bake in moderate oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

6Garnish with green pepper rings, if desired.
