- 3 c. frozen peas
- 1 c. sliced green onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. shredded lemon peel
- 3/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese (3 oz.)
Directions

1In a saucepan, cook peas according to directions.

2In a medium saucepan, cook onions in butter until tender, but not brown. Blend in the flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

3Add cream and lemon peel.

4Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

5Add cheese; cook and stir until cheese is melted.

6Do not boil.

7Drain peas and add to sauce.
