  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 c. onion
  • 12 oz. (2 1/2 c.) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 deep dish pie shell

    Cook bacon until crisp; crumble into pieces.

    Cook onion in 2 tablespoons of bacon fat.

    Combine all ingredients; pour into shell.

    Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.

    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
