Layered Salad

Ingredients

  • lettuce, torn in pieces
  • 1 c. thinly sliced white onion
  • Hellmann's mayonnaise (I used Kraft)
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1 large can LeSueur English peas
  • 8 slices crisp fried bacon, drained and crumbled (I use Bac*Os)

Directions

    Spread large bowl with lettuce.

    Layer onion, celery and drained peas.

    Spread mayonnaise over salad layers.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle cheese very thick over mayonnaise.

    Put crumbled bacon on top. Can put vinegar on peas.

    This salad may be made ahead of time. It keeps well and makes several servings.
