  • 1 1/2 lb. sirloin or round steak, cut in serving size pieces
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Bermuda onion
  • flour (for breading)
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. water (may vary)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Kitchen Bouquet (optional)

Directions

    Cut up steak and trim away all fat.

    Flour pieces and fry in a heavy skillet until browned well on both sides.

    Set aside in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
