Ingredients
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 lb. round steak
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Hot egg noodles or mashed potatoes
Directions

1Cut steak into serving size pieces.

2Dredge in flour, salt and pepper.

3Pound to tenderize.

4Brown on all sides in oil. Arrange in layers with onion in baking dish.

5Add water and Worcestershire.

6Cover and bake at 325° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until the meat is very tender.

7Remove to platter and keep warm, reserving pan juices.

8Serve over noodles or potatoes with gravy.
