  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 envelope dried onion soup
  • 1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cut tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Directions

    Line 9 x 13-inch casserole with aluminum foil.

    Place steak in pan.

    Add butter, onion soup, bell pepper and drained tomatoes. Shake together in a jar soup, salt, tomato juice and cornstarch. Pour over steak.

    Close foil tightly over steak.

    Bake at 350° for 2 hours.
