- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 lb. beef boneless round tip or chuck steak
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 c. water
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 large green pepper, sliced
Directions

1Mix flour, mustard and salt.

2Sprinkle one side of beef steak with half the mixture.

3Pound in.

4Repeat on other side.

5Cut beef into 6 pieces.

6Heat oil in 10-inch skillet.

7Cook beef over medium heat until brown.

8Add tomatoes and garlic.

9Break up tomatoes.

10Bring to a boil.

11Reduce heat and cover.

12Simmer until beef is tender (approximately 1 1/4 hours).
