- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. fat
- 1 small onion, chopped
Directions

1Cut steak 1 to 2 inches thick.

2Mix flour, salt and pepper thoroughly.

3Pound into steak.

4Brown meat and onion in hot fat. Add tomatoes.

5Cover; cook over low heat, or bake in moderate oven (350°) until tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
