- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. cane syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar, syrup and eggs until light and fluffy. Add boiling water, beat well.

2Add flour and baking soda, mixing well.

3Pour in well-greased and floured pan.

4Bake at 350° in a preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
