Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef or venison
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans tomatoes, drained
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, grated
  • 1/2 lb. medium sharp cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt (optional)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, drained
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • Tabasco sauce (optional)

Directions

    Brown ground beef with taco mix; drain grease.

    Layer in 2 (1 1/2-quart) casserole dishes.

    Start with cheese, meat, onion, pepper, green chilies and the rest of the ingredients.

    Mix up everything.

    When it's done, bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Sprinkle with Tabasco sauce (if desired) and/or garlic salt and cheese on top.

    Microwave on High 20 minutes.
