Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
  • 1 can mild enchilada sauce
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 pkg. soft tortillas
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 pt. sour cream

Directions

    Brown meat and onion; season with salt and pepper to taste. Add soup, chilies, enchilada sauce and milk.

    Simmer until reduced by half.

    Line 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong pan with tortillas.

    Spoon meat mixture over top.

    Sprinkle with cheeses and repeat.

    When serving, top each square with a dollop of sour cream.
