  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 34 cup water
  • 1 14 ounces taco seasoning
  • 14 cup butter, softened
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 34 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 14 teaspoon baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

    In a skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.

    Add water and taco seasoning; simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes.

    In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

    Combine dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
