- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 c. water
- 6 c. torn leaf lettuce
- tortilla chips
- 1 medium tomato, chopped (about 1 c.)
- 1 c. shredded cheese (4 oz.)
Directions

1In 10-inch skillet, over medium heat, cook beef and chili powder until browned and no longer pink, stirring to separate meat.

2Spoon off fat.

3Stir in soup mix and water.

4Heat to boiling.

5Reduce heat to low.

6Cook 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

7Arrange lettuce and tortilla chips on plates. Spoon hot meat mixture over chips.

8Top with tomatoes and cheese. Makes 6 servings.
