Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes with juice
  • 1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 (17 oz.) can corn with liquid
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 to 2 c. water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • tortilla or corn chips

Directions

    Brown beef in a large pot; drain and add onions.

    Cook until onions are tender.

    Add remaining ingredients except cheese and chips.

    Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Ladle into bowls; top with the shredded cheese.

    Serve with chips.
