Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1- 28 oz. can tomatoes
  • 1- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1- 15 oz. can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1- 14 - 16 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • chopped tomato and corn chips

Directions

    In a large saucepan or a Dutch oven, brown beef and onions; drain.

    Puree the tomatoes in their liquid; add to pan with tomato sauce, water, beans, corn and taco seasoning.

    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

    If desired, top each serving with cheese, tomato and corn chips.
