Tailgate Chicken Drum Sticks

  • Chicken Drumsticks-I usually do 30 pounds at a time. Bought at Sam's Club.
  • Brine:
  • 14 Qts. of Water.
  • 2 cups of Koscher Salt
  • 2 cups lemon juice, from concentrate.
  • 1/4 cup Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup olive oil.
  • Brine in a 10 gallon ziplock bag on ice in a cooler for 24 hours.
  • Drain, coat with Tony's, to taste. Grill until brown. Put in foil pan, cover with foil, put in covered grill, or oven at 250-300 degrees for an hour.

    Wash chicken legs, then brine for 24 hours. Make sure you keep the chicken cold. Use appropriate precautions with chicken.
