- 1/2 c. onion
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. beef, cubed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. tomato paste
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 6 medium potatoes
- 6 to 7 carrots
- zucchini
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1Saute onion and pepper in shortening in a large skillet.

2Add ground beef and brown well. Add tomato juice, rice, chili powder and seasonings.

3Stir well. Pour into casserole; cover.

4Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
