- 1 c. shortening
- 3 eggs
- dash of salt
- 4 level tsp. baking powder (with plain flour)
- flavoring (your choice)
- 1 c. milk
- flour (enough to form stiff dough, about 4 c.)
Directions

1Cream sugar and shortening together.

2Add eggs, one at a time, slightly beat.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Sift flour and add to batter like biscuit dough.

5Roll out and cut with cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheet and bake in 350° oven until slightly brown. Use enough flour for rolling consistency or flour hands and roll into ball as you would a biscuit.
