- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vegetable shortening
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. whipping cream
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Place sugar and vegetable oil in mixing bowl.

3Cream with an electric mixer until fluffy.

4Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition.

5Add baking powder, vanilla, cream and flour.

6Mix well.

7Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and space 1-inch apart.

8Place on cookie sheet (nonstick); flatten with fingers.

9Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
