- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 heaping c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. pure lard, room temperature
- 4 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place flour in a large mixing bowl.

2Add sugar, lard, eggs and vanilla.

3Mix by hand until all flour is absorbed.

4Turn out on floured board.

5Knead until dough is stiff (may have to add flour).

6Roll thin and cut desired size.

7Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.
