- 1 c. butter and other shortening, melted together
- nutmeg or vanilla to flavor
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
Directions

1Beat eggs together; add sugar, shortening and grated nutmeg. Sift soda and flour together and stir in enough to make a soft dough.

2Use the remainder to roll lightly.

3Roll thin and cut with small cutter.

4Bake in 350° oven.
