- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together and put in a tray of self-rising flour.

2Work in flour to make a soft dough.

3Place in refrigerator and let stand overnight.

4Roll out small balls the size of marbles.

5Then mash and bake at 325° until light brown.

6Remove from pan while still warm to cool.

7Store in airtight container.
