  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream margarine; add sugar and well beaten egg.

    Add salt and vanilla.

    Sift flour and add to mixture, a little at a time alternating with milk until all are in.

    Roll 1/8-inch thick.

    Cut into cakes and bake in moderate oven at 350° until light brown.
