  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 scant tsp. salt
  • 2 level tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • sugar and cinnamon (for topping)

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar.

    Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each.

    Add the remaining ingredients.

    Mix well and form into a roll.

    Chill well.

    Slice and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over tops.

    Bake at 350° until brown, about 10 minutes.
