- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. margarine or oleo
- 1 c. Crisco oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. powdered sugar (for after baking)
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Combine flour, soda and salt and sift together; set aside. In another bowl, cream the margarine and oil.

2Add sugar, eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture; mix well.

3Now, combine wet and dry ingredients and blend well.

4Make balls and press with fingers. Bake on next to top rack of preheated 350° oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle tea cakes with powdered sugar as soon as they are removed from the oven.
