  • 1/2 c. shortening (you may use Crisco oil)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. sweet milk

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Set in refrigerator for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to chill dough.

    Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters.

    Bake at 400° for about 7 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
