  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 7 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. buttermilk

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add one egg at a time.

    Add buttermilk, flour, soda and salt.

    Work dough until stiff.

    Roll dough out until about 1/4-inch thick.

    Cut with cookie cutter. Bake in 450° oven until brown.
