  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 blocks butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. plain flour

    Cream the sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add dry ingredients.

    Add the flour.

    Add milk and enough flour to make stiff dough.

    Roll out and pat thin. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375°.
