- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. melted butter
- 1/3 c. honey
- 3/4 c. ground pecans
- pinch of salt
- 24 pecan halves
Directions

1Blend together the cheese and butter, which have been softened to room temperature.

2Stir in flour.

3Refrigerate for one hour. Divide dough into 24 (1-inch) balls.

4Shape each ball into a shell.

5Place shells in mini-muffin cups or in small foil liners. Beat together the egg, melted butter, honey and vanilla.

6Stir in half the ground pecans.

7Sprinkle remaining ground pecans in the bottom of each shell.

8Add a spoonful of the egg, butter, honey mix to each shell.

9Top each with a pecan half.

10Bake at 325° for about 25 minutes or until crust is golden.

11You can use walnuts.
