Ingredients: 8 oz. cream cheese, softened; 1/2 c. sour cream; 2 Tbsp. dried minced onion; 2 Tbsp. green pepper, finely chopped; 2 1/2 oz. dried beef, finely chopped; 1/8 tsp. black pepper; 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper; 2 drops Tabasco sauce; 1/4 c. pecans, chopped

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
2 Tbsp. green pepper, finely chopped
2 1/2 oz. dried beef, finely chopped
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 drops Tabasco sauce
1/4 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

Blend cream cheese and sour cream.

Add remaining ingredients except pecans.

Spoon into a 1-quart shallow serving dish. Sprinkle with pecans.

Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

Serve hot as a spread for crackers.

This is equally good when mixed, chilled and then shaped into a ball to be served cold.

Served warm is a most unusual appetizer.
