  • 3/4 c. rice flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. tamari sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 c. cold water
  • 2 to 4 c. polyunsaturated oil (for frying)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 6 c. fresh veggies, cut in 1/4-inch slices

Directions

    Stir together flour and baking powder in a bowl.

    Add tamari sauce, water and egg.

    Stir until smooth (if too thick, add more liquid).

    Pour oil into a large pan or wok heated to 375°.
