Ingredients
- 1 (3 lb.) chicken
- 1 sm. onion, quartered
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic-pepper seasoning
Directions

1Preheat oven 375F.

2Remove giblets from chicken.

3Rinse chicken and pat dry.

4Place onion in cavity.

5Brush chicken on all sides with teriyaki sauce.

6Sprinkle with garlic-pepper seasoning.

7Coat roasting pan with cooking spray.

8Place chicken, breast side up, on rack of roasting pan.

9Insert meat thermometer into meaty part of thigh, making sure it does not touch bone.

10Pour remaining teriyaki sauce over chicken.

11Bake uncovered at 375F for 1-1/2 hours or until meat thermometer registers 185F.

12Remove skin before serving.
