- 4 pork chops (about 3/4-inch thick)
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. salsa (chunky style, purchased)
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles (undrained)
- 1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In large skillet over medium-high heat, brown chops in oil on one side, about 2 minutes; turn chops and add salsa and chiles to skillet.

2Lower heat; cover and simmer gently for 8 to 10 minutes. Uncover; top each chop with one tablespoon of cheese.

3Cover and simmer just until cheese melts.

4Serves four.
