Texas Beef Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 small green pepper, minced
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. cooked tomatoes
- 1/2 c. cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Saute onions and green pepper in oil until transparent (yellow).

3Remove cooked vegetables from pan and set aside.

4Cook ground beef, dipping out fat as it accumulates in pan.

5Cook until the beef is well done and falls into small pieces.

6Drain beef on paper towels.

7Place drained beef in large bowl.

8Stir in onions, green pepper and remaining ingredients. Pour into 1 1/2-quart baking dish with lid.

9Cover and bake 1 hour, removing cover for last 15 minutes.

10Serve hot.
