Ingredients
- 2 (14 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can hominy (white or golden), drained
- 2 medium firm tomatoes, chopped
- 4 green onions, sliced or chopped finely
- 1 medium size green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped very fine
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian salad dressing (bought)
- 1/2 or 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped fine (optional)
Directions

1Put all ingredients in bowl after chopping all veggies first. Pour dressing over all and toss.

2Let marinate at least 2 hours. Drain and serve.

3Serve with tortilla chips.
