- 2 cans black-eyed peas
- 1 c. salad oil
- 1/4 c. wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. garlic salt or 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 c. onion, thinly sliced (or more)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- cracked or freshly ground pepper to taste
- large Fritos
- pickled jalapenos
Directions

1Drain peas.

2Place in bowl (that can be tightly closed).

3Add all other ingredients except Fritos.

4Add enough chopped jalapenos for your taste.

5Thinly sliced green pepper and pimento could be added.

6Refrigerate 2 days before serving.

7Shaking or stirring bowl will help flavors.

8Use large Fritos for dipping.

9Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
