- 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. cumin seed
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown the meat in a large, heavy skillet.

2Add onion and garlic.

3Stir.

4Cook 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and can of water. Add paste and can of water.

5Add 1 teaspoon cumin seed. Simmer. Add chili powder about 1 hour before done and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer, covered, on stove about 2 hours total.

6Remove cover and simmer until desired thickness.
