- 1 1/2 c. plain cornmeal
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 1 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. margarine, melted
Directions

1Mix all the ingredients together (except margarine). Pour into an ungreased 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven. Pour the melted margarine over the baked cornbread. Let stand until it has been absorbed.
