- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In large skillet, cook and stir meat, onions and green pepper until all is brown.

3Drain off fat.

4Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, pepper and chili powder.

5Heat well. Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.

6Cover and bake for 1 hour.
