  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 2 c. seedless raisins
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • 1 medium chopped apple, peeled

Directions

    In saucepan, combine all ingredients, stirring constantly over medium heat until thick.

    Pour into pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate. Moisten edge; adjust top crust or lattice crust.

    Flute edge. Bake in hot oven at 400° about 35 or 40 minutes.
