- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. fat or oil
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 bell peppers, cut fine
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook onions and pepper slowly in hot oil until onions are transparent.

2Add hamburger and fry, stirring constantly, until mixture falls apart.

3Add tomatoes, rice and seasonings; mix well. Put in large greased casserole; cover and bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
